What Our Customers Say
We recently held our golf banquet here for the second year in a row! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price! We couldn’t have asked for more – everyone was so attentive and we felt so welcomed!
We went here as a group of 4 for Valentine’s Day. We made reservations (as you should on Valentine’s Day), and all of the ladies got roses which is such a nice touch. They didn’t have a special menu for Valentine’s day which I was hoping for, but it was our first time at this Red Fox so the regular menu was new to us anyways. We ordered the fried Gnocchi appetizer, absolutely delicious, both warm, savory, and crispy/crunchy, but also cool, sweet, and refreshing with the honey and the cold ricotta. We ordered the family size Red Fox salad, because one of our group wanted a salad and they don’t come with a meal and thought it’d be fun to share, this is the only negative part of my experience here, she ordered a $45 salad and when it came it was huge, it was delicious, but we would have been better off to order 1 small salad for each of us, rather than a family size portion, because it was big enough to serve 8, and easily more. The waitress should have mentioned the portion sizes but the person ordering shouldn’t have ordered a $45 salad for the table when we were all ordering meals and dessert and apps. Anyways back to the good experience I ordered the eggplant Parm which was perfect, I was most excited about the homemade pasta which was delicious. My husband ordered the lasagna and he loved his as well. We both brought half of ours home because of how full we were from the salad (that can’t really be saved for later), and we all wanted desert. I ordered the creme brulee which was big and shareable, with a perfect caramelized crust and creamy texture, I’d go back and just order desserts fantastic choices. My husband got an affogato and it came with cookie crumbles on top, which is unique and was delicious. Highly recommend.
We went for a family birthday dinner at the request of the birthday boy:) It was our first time. Food was great. Every dish was enjoyed by everyone at a table of 8. Fried Gnocchi and ricotta with honey was very interesting. Filling though. The chicken parm was classic in the best way, except for the double stacked chicken. But the thinness of the chicken base it work well. Cesar’s salad for the table was plenty for us. The Alfredo was on the lighter side, but allowed more of the pasta flavor to come through and it is excellent pasta. Spaghetti and meatballs with bolognese looked great. The Affogato was amazing. So was the panacatta. All deserts were large enough for 2-4 people.
Not a large dining space so definitely make reservations. Staff was attentive and worked as a team well. Never waited long for anything (except the hot skillet cookie sundaes, but they clearly come straight out of the oven).
Price was appropriate for service, quality, and quantity. More space between chairs would be nice but it is doable and adds a sense of home or community.
Overall worth a try even if it risks a long drive and requires planning. You won’t bed disappointed.

This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint! Food was delicious, especially the grilled panini bread appetizer. The tortellini with vodka sauce and sausage was amazing!
